And indeed, the Qur'an is the revelation of the Lord of the worlds. 192 the Faithful Spirit has brought it down 193 into your heart, so that you may be a warner, 194 In eloquent Arabic. 195 Its news was also mentioned in the ancient Books. 196 Is not the fact (that the Israelite scholars already knew about the Quran through their Book) sufficient evidence for the pagans of the truthfulness (of the Quran)? 197 Had We revealed it to any one of the non-Arabs, 198 And he had recited it to them [perfectly], they would [still] not have been believers in it. 199 We have thus caused denial of truth to enter into the hearts of the sinners: 200 They will not believe it until they behold the painful punishment. 201 So it will come upon them suddenly, whilst they will be unaware. 202 Then will they say: "Can we be given respite?" 203 Do they then ask for Our Penalty to be hastened on? 204 Hast thou then seen, if We content them for (long) years, 205 And then the promise that is given to them, does come upon them- 206 of what avail would their past enjoyment be to them? 207 We never destroyed any habitation but that it had warners 208 as a reminder from Us: We are never unjust. 209 And the devils have not brought the revelation down. 210 It would neither suit them nor would they be able (to produce it). 211 Lo! verily they are banished from the hearing. 212 So invoke not with Allah another ilah (god) lest you be among those who receive punishment. 213 And warn your tribe (O Muhammad SAW) of near kindred. 214 And lower thy wing (in kindness) unto those believers who follow thee. 215 So if they do not obey you, then say, “Indeed I am unconcerned with what you do.” 216 Have trust in the Mighty, the Merciful, 217 Who sees you when you arise 218 and when thou turnest about among those who bow. 219 He is All-hearing and All-knowing." 220 Shall I tell you on whom the Satans come down? 221 They descend on every lying (one who tells lies), sinful person. 222 on those who whisper hearsay in the ears of people; and most of them are liars. 223 As for poets, the erring follow them. 224 Do you not see that they wander about bewildered in every valley? 225 and how they say that which they do not? 226 Save those who believed and worked righteous works and remembered Allah much, and vindicated themselves after they had been wronged. And anon those who do wrong shall come to know with what a translating they shall be translated. 227
