Say: 'Lord, if You should show me that which they are promised, 93 "My Lord! Then (save me from Your Punishment), and put me not amongst the people who are the Zalimun (polytheists and wrong-doing)." 94 Surely We are able to show you what We warn them against. 95 Repel evil with that which is best: We are well acquainted with the things they say. 96 and say, "My Lord, I seek refuge with You from the prompting of the devils. 97 And I seek refuge in Thee, my Lord, lest they be present with me, 98 Until, when death comes to one* of them, he says, “O my Lord, send me back!” (The disbelievers) 99 that I should do righteousness in that I forsook' No! It is only a word which he will speak. Behind them there shall stand a barrier till the Day that they shall be resurrected. 100 Then, when the Trumpet is blown, there will be no kinship among them that Day, nor will they ask of one another. 101 Then those whose balance (of good deeds) is heavy,- they will attain salvation: 102 But those whose scales are light - those are the ones who have lost their souls, [being] in Hell, abiding eternally. 103 The Fire will scorch their faces, and therein they shall be grinning. 104 "Were not My Verses (this Quran) recited to you, and then you used to deny them?" 105 They will say, “Our Lord! Our ill-fate overcame us, and we were the astray people.” 106 Lord, deliver us from Hell. Then, if we revert again, we shall definitely be wrongdoers." 107 God will say, "Stay there and do not speak to Me. 108 "A part of My servants there was, who used to pray 'our Lord! we believe; then do Thou forgive us, and have mercy upon us: For Thou art the Best of those who show mercy!" 109 “So you took them for a mockery until your mocking at them made you forget My remembrance, and you used to laugh at them!” 110 Now today I have recompensed them for their patient endurance; they are the triumphant.' 111 He will ask, "How many years did you stay on earth?" 112 They will answer: "We have spent there a day, or part of a day; but ask those who [are able to] count [time]" 113 [Whereupon] He will say: "You have spent there but a short while: had you but known [how short it was to be]! 114 Then did you think that We created you uselessly and that to Us you would not be returned?" 115 High Exalted be Allah, the King, the Truth. There is no god except He, the Lord of the Noble Throne. 116 And whosoever calls upon another god with God, whereof he has no proof, his reckoning is with his Lord; surely the unbelievers shall not prosper. 117 And, [O Muhammad], say, "My Lord, forgive and have mercy, and You are the best of the merciful." 118
