The Galaxies (Al-Burooj)
22 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Sun (Al-Shams) before The Fig (Al-Teen)
Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
By the heaven adorned with big stars. 1 and [then bethink thyself of] the promised Day, 2 And the witness and the witnessed, 3 destroyed were the people of the trench, 4 by a burning fire 5 When they were sitting at its edge. 6 fully conscious of what they are doing to the believers, 7 And they resented them not except because they believed in Allah, the Exalted in Might, the Praiseworthy, 8 Him to Whom belongs the dominion of the heavens and the earth! And Allah is Witness to all things. 9 Surely for those who persecute believers, men and women, and do not repent afterwards, is the punishment of Hell, and the punishment of burning. 10 As for the righteously striving believers, they will live in Paradise wherein streams flow. This is the greatest triumph. 11 Truly strong is the Grip (and Power) of thy Lord. 12 Surely it is He who originates, and brings again, 13 And He is the Forgiving, and the Loving. 14 Master of the Honourable Throne. 15 Always doing whatever He wills. 16 Hast thou received the story of the hosts, 17 Of Pharaoh and (the tribe of) Thamud? 18 Nay! The disbelievers (persisted) in denying (Prophet Muhammad (Peace be upon him) and his Message of Islamic Monotheism). 19 However, God encompassed their activities. 20 Nay, this is a Glorious Qur'an, 21 In the Preserved Tablet. 22
True are the words of God the Almighty.
