Have you not seen that your Lord increases the shadow. Had He wanted He would have made it stationary], and has made the sun their guide. 45 Then We draw it in towards Ourselves,- a contraction by easy stages. 46 And He it is Who makes the Night as a Robe for you, and Sleep as Repose, and makes the Day (as it were) a Resurrection. 47 And He it is Who sends the winds as good news before His mercy; and We send down pure water from the cloud, 48 so that He may revive the dead land, and quench the thirst of many of His creatures from among beasts and men. 49 And We distribute it among them in various ways that they may ponder and reflect; yet most men disdain everything but denial and thanklessness. 50 If We had willed, We would have raised up in every city a warner. 51 hence, do not defer to [the likes and dislikes of] those who deny the truth, but strive hard against them, by means of this [divine writ,] with utmost striving. 52 ۞ And He it is Who has made two seas to flow freely, the one sweet that subdues thirst by its sweetness, and the other salt that burns by its saltness; and between the two He has made a barrier and inviolable obstruction. 53 It is He who has created the human being from water to have relationships of both lineage and wedlock. Your Lord has all power. 54 But they worship rather than Allah that which does not benefit them or harm them, and the disbeliever is ever, against his Lord, an assistant [to Satan]. 55 And We have not sent you (O dear Prophet Mohammed – peace and blessings be upon him) except as a Herald of glad tidings and warnings. 56 Say: "No reward do I ask of you for it but this: that each one who will may take a (straight) Path to his Lord." 57 And rely upon the Ever-Living who does not die, and exalt [Allah] with His praise. And sufficient is He to be, with the sins of His servants, Acquainted - 58 He who has created the heavens and the earth and all that is between them in six aeons, and is established on the throne of His almightiness; the Most Gracious! Ask, then, about Him, [the] One who is [truly] aware. 59 But when they are told, 'Bow yourselves to the All-merciful,' they say, 'And what is the All-merciful? Shall we bow ourselves to what thou biddest us?' And it increases them in aversion. ۩ 60
