Say (O Muhammad SAW): " My Lord! If You would show me that with which they are threatened (torment), 93 do not, O my Sustainer, let me be one of those evildoing folk!" 94 Surely We are able to show you what We warn them against. 95 Repel evil with that which is better. We are Best Aware of that which they allege. 96 Say: "My Lord, I seek refuge in You from the evil promptings of the devils. 97 “And my Lord, (I seek) Your refuge from their coming to me.” 98 Till, when death comes to one of them, he says, 'My Lord, return me; 99 so that I may do good works in the world I have left behind." Never! It is indeed but a meaningless word that he utters. A barrier shall stand behind such people till the Day they are raised up again. 100 Then when the Trumpet is blown there will be no lineage among them that Day, nor will they ask of each other. 101 Then he whose scales are heavy -- they are the prosperers, 102 whereas they whose weight is light in the balance - it is they who will have squandered their own selves, [destined] to abide in hell: 103 The fire lashes their faces and therein are shriveled lips. 104 "Were not My messages read out to you? But you denied them." 105 They will say: "our Lord! Our misfortune overwhelmed us, and we became a people astray! 106 Our Lord, bring us forth out of it! Then, if we revert, we shall be evildoers indeed.' 107 He saith: Begone therein, and speak not unto Me. 108 Verily there was a party of My bondmen who said: our Lord! we have believed, wherefore forgive us and have mercy upon us, and Thou art the Best of the merciful ones! 109 But you took them for a mockery until they made you forget My remembrance and you used to laugh at them. 110 I have rewarded them this day for they were constant, and they have come to attainment." 111 He will say: "What number of years did ye stay on earth?" 112 They will say: "We stayed a day or part of a day. Ask of those who keep account." 113 He shall say, 'You have tarried but a little, did you know. 114 Deemed ye then that We had created you for naught, and that ye would not be returned unto Us? 115 Now Allah be Exalted, the True King! There is no Allah save Him, the Lord of the Throne of Grace. 116 And whosoever calls upon another god with God, whereof he has no proof, his reckoning is with his Lord; surely the unbelievers shall not prosper. 117 Say: "My Lord, forgive and have mercy. You are the best of the merciful." 118
