Al-Aadeyaat
The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)
In the Name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate
By (the horses) that charge snorting, 1 Then those that produce fire striking, 2 Then those charging in the morning 3 blazing a trail of dust, 4 and penetrate deep into a host. 5 Surely Man is ungrateful to his Lord, 6 And lo! he is a witness unto that; 7 And is intractable in his love of worldly goods. 8 ۞ Is he not aware of the time when the contents of the graves will be brought out? 9 and all that is [hidden] in men's hearts is bared 10 surely on that day their Lord shall be aware of them! 11
Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
