The Shocker (Al-Qaare'ah)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Quraish (Quraish) before Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah)
In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
The (Day) of Noise and Clamour: 1 What is the Calamity? 2 And what will make you know what the striking (Hour) is? 3 [It will occur] on the Day when men will be like moths swarming in confusion, 4 And the mountains will be like carded wool, 5 Then he whose scales weigh heavier 6 He will live a pleasant life. 7 but those whose good deeds will be lighter (on the scale). 8 He will have his home in Hawiyah (pit, i.e. Hell). 9 How will you comprehend what that is? 10 It is a blazing fire. 11
