The Town (Al-Balad)
20 verses, revealed in Mecca after Q (Qaaf) before The Comet (Al-Taareq)
In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful
۞ I swear by this city -- 1 and you are a lodger in this country. 2 and I swear by the parent and his offspring: 3 indeed, We created man in trouble. 4 Deemest he that none will overpower him? 5 He boasts, "I have spent wealth abundant!" 6 Does he, then, think that no one sees him? 7 Did We not give him two eyes, 8 And a tongue and two lips, 9 And guide him to the parting of the mountain ways? 10 Yet he attempteth not the steep, 11 and what shall teach thee what is the steep? 12 (It is) the setting free of a slave, 13 Or giving food in a day of hunger (famine), 14 An orphan near of kin, 15 or to a destitute lying in dust; 16 so that he becomes one of those who believe, charge each other to be patient, and charge each other to be merciful. 17 Those are the companions of the right. 18 and [as for] those who are bent on denying the truth of Our revelations, they are the people of the left hand, 19 Over them will be fire closed in. 20
Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.

Notes and Instructions
اقرأ القرآن الكريم كله ملونا بالكامل، حيث تولد ألوان وأشكال الصفحات بشكل عشوائي تماما بحيث لا يتكرر التركيب نفسه مرتين.
Read the entire Holy Quran in full color, where pages randomly generate their colors and shapes so that the same scheme never repeats twice.
قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
