Al-Duhaa
The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Dawn (Al-Fajr) before Cooling the Temper (Al-Sharrhh)
Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
By oath of the late morning, 1 and the brooding night! 2 Your Lord has neither left you, nor despises you. 3 And verily the latter portion will be better for thee than the former, 4 And indeed your Lord will soon give you so much that you will be pleased. (Allah seeks to please the Holy Prophet – peace and blessings be upon him.) 5 Did He not find you an orphan and take care of you? 6 And He found thee wandering, so He guided thee, 7 And found you in need, so made you prosperous? 8 Therefore do not treat the orphan with harshness, 9 and do not chide the one who asks for help; 10 And abundantly proclaim the favours of your Lord. 11
Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
