The Inevitable (Al-Waaqe'ah)
96 verses, revealed in Mecca after T H (Taa Haa) before The Poets (Alshu'araa')
In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful
۞ When the Event will come to pass 1 and there can be no denying its happening, 2 (a calamitous Event) that shall turn things upside down: 3 When the earth shall be shaken to its depths, 4 and the mountains crumbled, 5 they will become like dust scattered around. 6 On that day, you (mankind) will be divided into three groups: 7 Those of the right hand -- how (happy) will be those of the right hand! 8 Those on the Left -- how unlucky are those on the Left! 9 And those Foremost (in Faith) will be Foremost (in the Hereafter). 10 Those! they shall be the brought nigh, 11 In gardens of delight; 12 Many of them will be from the ancient people 13 And a few of later ages, 14 on lavish couches 15 Reclining on them, facing one another. 16 Round about them will (serve) youths of perpetual (freshness), 17 Carrying bowls and pitchers and cups filled with wine flowing before them. 18 which will not cause them any intoxication or illness. 19 And such fruits as they fancy, 20 And the flesh of fowls, any that they may desire. 21 and wide-eyed houris 22 The like of the hidden pearls: 23 as reward for their deeds. 24 There they shall hear no idle talk nor any sinful speech. 25 Only a saying: "Peace, peace." 26 And the fellows on the right hand; how be happy shall the fellows on the right hand be! 27 They shall be in the midst of thornless lote trees, 28 And plantains laden with fruit. 29 And shade extended 30 And water everflowing. 31 and fruit abounding, 32 Neither limited [to season] nor forbidden, 33 And exalted thrones. 34 and their spouses We shall have brought them into being afresh, 35 and made them virgins, 36 Beloved (by nature), equal in age,- 37 for the Companions of the Right 38

When reading the Colorful Quran in English transliterated Arabic mode, you may not notice that there is an algorithm designed to match the pause requirements of the original Arabic scripture, (waqf signs). As you may know, the original Arabic Quran has five main types of pauses, (waqf) signs. (1) Compulsory break, where the transliteration uses a full stop. (2) Optional pause with the preference for pausing, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a probability of two thirds. (3) Optional stop with an equal preference for pausing and resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a half-half probability. (4) Optional pause with the preference for resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a chance of one third. (5) Attraction pause, also called hugging, or (mu’anaka) sign, where it is compulsory to pause at either one of two nearby positions, but not both; where the transliteration inserts a comma at either one of the two locations with a half-half probability.
