۞ And We inspired to Moses, "Travel by night with My servants; indeed, you will be pursued." 52 So Firon sent heralds into the cities; 53 [bidding them to call out his troops and to proclaim:] "Behold, these [children of Israel] are but a contemptible band; 54 And most surely they have enraged us; 55 We are warning all of you about them." 56 Thus did We take them away from gardens and watersprings, 57 And treasures and a fair estate. 58 Even so. And We gave them as a heritage to the children of Israel. 59 But they pursued them at sunrise. 60 And when the two companies saw one another, the companions of Moses said, "Indeed, we are to be overtaken!" 61 [Moses] said, "No! Indeed, with me is my Lord; He will guide me." 62 So We sent the divine revelation to Moosa that, “Strike the sea with your staff”; thereupon the sea parted; so each part was like a huge mountain. 63 We also brought the other party close to the same spot, 64 and We saved Moses and all who were with him, 65 And We drowned the others. 66 Lo! herein is indeed a portent, yet most of them are not believers. 67 And lo, thy Lord! He is indeed the Mighty, the Merciful. 68
