▼ 55 The All Compassionate
Al-Rahman 3 of 3
But such as fears the Station of his Lord, for them shall be two gardens -- 46 which, then, of your Sustainer's powers can you disavow? 47 Of spreading branches. 48 So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny? 49 In [each of] these two [gardens] two springs will flow. 50 Which, then, of the benefits of your Lord will ye twain belie? 51 In which are fruits of all kinds, each of two varieties. 52 Which then of the bounties of your Lord will you deny? 53 reclining upon couches lined with brocade, the fruits of the gardens nigh to gather -- 54 (Jinn and mankind) - which of the favors of your Lord would you then deny? 55 In these [gardens] will be mates of modest gaze, whom neither man nor invisible being will have touched ere then. 56 Which favors of your Lord will you both belie? 57 [When you are promised splendours] as though [of] rubies and [of] pearls 58 Which of the favours of your Lord will you twain – you men and jinn – then deny? 59 Should the reward of goodness be aught else but goodness? -- 60 Which is it, of the favours of your Lord, that ye deny? 61 Besides those two there shall be two other gardens. 62 Which then of the bounties of your Lord will you deny? 63 Two Gardens, dark green and fresh. 64 Which of the favours of your Lord will you twain – you men and jinn – then deny? 65 In both of them live springs gush forth. 66 Which, then, of the benefits of your Lord will ye twain belie? 67 In both of them there will be fruit trees and date-palms and pomegranates. 68 Which is it, of the favours of your Lord, that ye deny? 69 Therein will be maidens chaste and beautiful. 70 O which of your Lord's bounties will you and you deny? 71 Fair ones, confined in tents. 72 O which of your Lord's bounties will you and you deny? 73 There hath deflowered them neither man nor jinn. 74 Which of your Lord's wonders would you deny? 75 [They will live in such a paradise] reclining upon green cushions and the finest carpets. 76 Then which of the favours of your Lord will ye deny? 77 Blessed is the Name of your Lord, the Lord of Glory and Grace. 78
Allah the Almighty always says the truth.
