۞ But nay! I swear by the falling of stars; 75 and, behold, this is indeed a most solemn affirmation, if you but knew it! 76 Indeed, it is a noble Qur'an 77 In a Book well-guarded (with Allah in the heaven i.e. Al-Lauh Al-Mahfuz). 78 which none shall touch except the purified; 79 It has been revealed by the Lord of all the worlds. 80 Is it this Statement that ye scorn, 81 And make denial thereof your livelihood? 82 So why was it not, when the soul reaches up to the throat, – 83 the while you are [helplessly] looking on 84 But We (i.e. Our angels who take the soul) are nearer to him than you, but you see not, [Tafsir At-Tabari, Vol. 27, Page 209] 85 Then why do you not, if you are not to be recompensed, 86 do you not restore his soul, if you are truthful? 87 (If a dying soul) is of those near to God, 88 (There is for him) Rest and Satisfaction, and a Garden of Delights. 89 And if he be of the Companions of the Right Hand, 90 it will be with the people of the right hand, living in peace and security. 91 But if he is of the deniers and the errants, 92 Then [for him is] accommodation of scalding water 93 And roasting in a Blaze. 94 Indeed, this is the certain truth. 95 Extol, then, the limitless glory of thy Sustainer's mighty name! 96
