Do you not see that We have appointed devils to incite those who deny the truth to disobedience? 83 So hasten thou not against them; We are only numbering for them a number. 84 On the Day of Judgment, when the pious people will be brought into the presence of the Beneficent God as the guests of honor 85 and drive the evildoers into Gehenna herding, 86 no one will be able to intercede for the others except those whom the Beneficent God has given authority. 87 As it is, some assert, "The Most Gracious has taken unto Himself a son 88 Indeed ye have put forth a thing most monstrous! 89 Which would cleave the skies asunder, rend the earth, and split the mountains, 90 That ye ascribe unto the Beneficent a son, 91 For it is not consonant with the majesty of (Allah) Most Gracious that He should beget a son. 92 There is no one in the heavens and the earth but he shall come to the Most Compassionate Lord as His servant. 93 He has counted them and exactly numbered all; 94 And everyone of them will come to Him singly on the Day of Judgment. 95 Surely (as for) those who believe and do good deeds for them will Allah bring about love. 96 We have made it easy in your own tongue in order that you proclaim the glad tidings to the cautious and give warning to a stubborn nation. 97 But how many (countless) generations before them have We destroyed? Canst thou find a single one of them (now) or hear (so much as) a whisper of them? 98
