Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah)
40 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Shocker (Al-Qaare'ah) before The Backbiter (Al-Hummazah)
In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful
۞ No! I swear by the Day of Resurrection, 1 And I do call to witness the self-reproaching spirit: (Eschew Evil). 2 Does man think that We cannot [resurrect him and] bring his bones together again? 3 Indeed, We have the power to restore his very finger tips! 4 But man would fain deny what is before him. 5 He asks: "When will the Day of Resurrection be?" 6 So when the eyes will be blinded by light. 7 and the moon is eclipsed, 8 And the sun and the moon will be united. 9 Man will say on that Day, "Where is the [place of] escape?" 10 No, there is no refuge. 11 Unto your Lord (Alone) will be the place of rest that Day. 12 On that Day, man will be told of all that he has sent before and what he has left behind. 13 nay, but man shall against himself be an eye-witness, 14 even though he may veil himself in excuses. 15 (O Prophet), do not stir your tongue hastily (to commit the Revelation to memory). 16 We shall be responsible for its collection and its recitation. 17 And when We read it, follow thou the reading; 18 and then, it will be for Us to make its meaning clear. 19 Nay; the truth is that you love ardently (the good of this world) that can be obtained hastily, 20 and neglect the Hereafter. 21 Countenances on that Day shall be resplendent, 22 Looking towards their Lord; 23 And countenances on that Day shall be scowling. 24 so they might think the Calamity had been inflicted upon them. 25 By no means! When it cometh up to the collar-bone. 26 And it is said: Who will be a magician? 27 and when he thinks it is the time of departure 28 And one shin will curl up with the other shin. 29 unto thy Lord that Day is the drive. 30

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
