Al-Naze'aat 2 of 2
(People), is your creation harder for God than that of the heavens, which He created, raised and established 27 high above? 28 He has made its nights dark and its days bright. 29 And after that He spread the earth, 30 He extracted from it its water and its pasture, 31 And the mountains! He established them firm: 32 A provision for you and your cattle. 33 On the day when the great calamity comes, 34 The day when man will call to mind his (whole) endeavour, 35 Hell fire will become visible for those who would see it. 36 Then he who had been rebellious 37 And had preferred the life of this world, 38 will find himself in Hell; 39 But as for him who feared the Station of his Lord and forbade the soul its caprice, 40 indeed, their refuge shall be Paradise. 41 They question thee of the Hour: when will its arrival be? 42 [But] how couldst thou tell anything about it, 43 With thy Lord is the Limit fixed therefore. 44 Thou art but a warner unto him who feareth it. 45 It shall be as if; on the day they see it, they have but tarried for an evening, or its forenoon. 46

Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
