Friday (Al-Jumu'ah)
In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful
۞ All that is in heavens and earth exalt Allah, the King, the Pure, the Almighty, the Wise. 1 He it is Who raised among the inhabitants of Mecca an Apostle from among themselves, who recites to them His communications and purifies them, and teaches them the Book and the Wisdom, although they were before certainly in clear error, 2 and (He has also) sent him to those others who have not yet joined them. He is the Most Mighty, the Most Wise. 3 That is the Grace of Allah, which He bestows on whom He wills. And Allah is the Owner of Mighty Grace. 4 The likeness of those who were laden with the Taurat and then they bare it not, is as the likeness of the ass bearing tomes. Hapless is the likeness of the people who belie the signs of Allah. And Allah guideth not a wrong doing people. 5 Say, "O you who are Jews, if you claim that you are allies of Allah, excluding the [other] people, then wish for death, if you should be truthful." 6 And they will never invoke it because of what their hands have sent before; and Allah is Cognizant of the unjust. 7 Say, "Indeed, the death from which you flee - indeed, it will meet you. Then you will be returned to the Knower of the unseen and the witnessed, and He will inform you about what you used to do." 8
