And We sent Noah to his people; and he said, 'O my people, serve God! You have no god other' than He; truly, I fear for you the chastisement of a dreadful day.' 59 The leaders of his people said, “Indeed we see you in open error.” 60 "I have not gone astray, O my people," he said, "but have been sent by my Lord, the creator of all the worlds. 61 sent to preach to you the message of my Lord and to give you good advice. I know what you do not know about God. 62 "Do ye wonder that there hath come to you a message from your Lord, through a man of your own people, to warn you,- so that ye may fear Allah and haply receive His Mercy?" 63 But they rejected him, and We delivered him, and those with him, in the Ark: but We overwhelmed in the flood those who rejected Our signs. They were indeed a blind people! 64
