We created mankind from clay, molded from mud, 26 And the jinn We created before from scorching fire. 27 And lo! Thy Sustainer said unto the angels: "Behold, I am about to create mortal man out of sounding clay, out of dark slime transmuted; 28 So when I have made him complete and breathed into him of My spirit, fall down making obeisance to him. 29 So the angels fell prostrate, all of them together 30 Except Iblis. He refused to bow with the adorers. 31 [Allah] said, O Iblees, what is [the matter] with you that you are not with those who prostrate?" 32 He replied: 'I will not prostrate to a mortal You have created of clay, from molded mud' 33 "Go hence, execrable," said He, "from this place, 34 And indeed, upon you is the curse until the Day of Recompense." 35 He said: my Lord! respite me then till the Day whereon they will be raised up. 36 "You are among the reprieved," said the Lord, 37 Till the period of the time made known. 38 He said: My Lord! because Thou hast made life evil to me, I will certainly make (evil) fair-seeming to them on earth, and I will certainly cause them all to deviate 39 except those of Your servants whom You have singled out for Yourself." 40 He said: "This way is right by Me. 41 "For over My servants no authority shalt thou have, except such as put themselves in the wrong and follow thee." 42 And lo! for all such, hell will be the promised place. 43 Unto it are seven portals; unto each portal is a portion of them assigned. 44

عند قراءة القرآن الملون في وضعية اللغة العربية المرسومة بالأحرف الإنجليزية، قد لا تلاحظ وجود منظومة برمجية مصممة لمطابقة متطلبات علامات الوقف في النص العربي الأصلي. فكما تعلم، يحتوي القرآن على خمسة أنواع رئيسية من علامات الوقف. (1) وقف لازم، حيث يستخدم الرسم الإنجليزي نقطة وقف. (2) وقف جائز مع الوقف أولى، حيث يستخدم الرسم الإنجليزي فاصلة قد تظهر باحتمال الثلثين. (3) وقف جائز مع تساوي أولوية الوقف والوصل، حيث يستخدم الرسم الإنجليزي فاصلة قد تظهر باحتمال النصف للنصف. (4) وقف جائز مع الوصل أولى، حيث يستخدم الرسم الإنجليزي فاصلة قد تظهر باحتمال الثلث. When reading the Colorful Quran in English transliterated Arabic mode, you may not notice that there is an algorithm designed to match the pause requirements of the original Arabic scripture, (waqf signs). As you may know, the original Arabic Quran has five main types of pauses, (waqf) signs. (1) Compulsory break, where the transliteration uses a full stop. (2) Optional pause with the preference for pausing, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a probability of two thirds. (3) Optional stop with an equal preference for pausing and resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a half-half probability. (4) Optional pause with the preference for resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a chance of one third. (5) Attraction pause, also called hugging, or (mu’anaka) sign, where it is compulsory to pause at either one of two nearby positions, but not both; where the transliteration inserts a comma at either one of the two locations with a half-half probability.
