It is He Who has endowed you with the faculties of hearing and sight and has given you hearts (to think). Scarcely do you give thanks. 78 And it is He Who has created you on the earth, and to Him you shall be gathered back. 79 And it is He who gives life and causes death, and His is the alternation of the night and the day. Then will you not reason? 80 Nay, but they say the like of what the men of old said. 81 They said, 'What, when we are dead and become dust and bones, shall we be indeed raised up? 82 We have been promised this, we and our forefathers, before; this is not but legends of the former peoples." 83 Say thou: whose is the earth and whosoever is therein, if you know? 84 They will quickly reply, "It belongs to God." Say, "Will you not, then, take heed?" 85 Say: 'Who is the Lord of the seven heavens, and of the Great Throne' 86 They will say: "God." Say: "Then why do you not obey and fear Him?" 87 Say, “In Whose hand is the control over all things, and He provides refuge, and none can provide refuge against Him, if you know?” 88 They will reply spontaneously, "It is God." Ask them, "Why has falsehood bewitched you?" 89 Nay, but We have brought them the Truth, and lo! they are liars. 90 Never did Allah take unto Himself any son, nor is there any god other than He. (Had there been any other gods) each god would have taken his creatures away with him, and each would have rushed to overpower the other. Glory be to Allah from all that they characterize Him with! 91 The Knower of the unseen and the seen, so may He be exalted above what they associate (with Him). 92
