۞ We revealed to Moses: "Set forth with My servants by night for you will be pursued." 52 Then Pharaoh sent into the cities summoners, 53 (Saying): "Verily! These indeed are but a small band. 54 They are always harassing us. 55 seeing that we are, verily, a nation united, fully prepared against danger 56 We therefore got them out from the gardens and water springs. 57 treasures, and graceful dwellings. 58 Even so. And We gave them as a heritage to the children of Israel. 59 Then they pursued them at sunrise. 60 and when the two groups saw each other, Moses' companions said, "We are sure to be overtaken." 61 Said he, 'No indeed; surely my Lord is with me; He will guide me.' 62 Then We inspired Musa (Moses) (saying): "Strike the sea with your stick." And it parted, and each separate part (of that sea water) became like the huge, firm mass of a mountain. 63 And We brought near thither the others. 64 We saved Moses and all the people with him 65 Then We drowned the others. 66 Indeed in that is a sign, but most of them were not to be believers. 67 And verily thy Lord! He is the Mighty, the Merciful. 68
