And assuredly We delivered the Children of Isra'il from an ignominous torment 30 from Pharaoh, who ranked high in sin, 31 And assuredly We elected them with knowledge above the worlds. 32 And sent them tokens to bring out the best in them. 33 [Now,] behold, these [people] say indeed: 34 "There is nothing but our first death, and we shall not be resurrected. 35 So bring our fathers (back), if you are truthful. 36 Are they better than the people of Tubba, and those who had lived before them, whom We destroyed as they were sinners? 37 We have not created the heavens and the earth and all that is between them for Our own amusement. 38 none of this have We created without [an inner] truth: but most of them understand it not. 39 The Day of Final Decision is the appointed time for all; 40 The Day when no protector can avail his client in aught, and no help can they receive, 41 Save him on whom Allah hath mercy. Lo! He is the Mighty, the Merciful. 42
