The Shocker (Al-Qaare'ah)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Quraish (Quraish) before Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
The event that terrifies the hearts! 1 What is the Calamity? 2 What shall Make thee know that which the Striking is? 3 On that day, people will be like scattered moths 4 And the mountains will be like wool, fluffed up. 5 Then, he whose balance (of good deeds) will be (found) heavy, 6 He will be in a pleasant life. 7 And for one whose scales prove light, 8 He will have his home in Hawiyah (pit, i.e. Hell). 9 What shall let you know what the Plunging is? 10 Raging Fire. 11
True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
