Charity (Al-Maa'oon)

7 verses, revealed in Mecca after Hoarding (Al-Takaathur) before The Disbelievers (Al-Kaaferoon)

In the name of God, The Most Gracious, The Dispenser of Grace

Hast thou seen him who cries lies to the Doom? 1 Then such is the (man) who repulses the orphan (with harshness), 2 And does not urge to feed the needy. 3 So woe unto those performers of Salat (prayers) (hypocrites), 4 Who are neglectful of their prayers, 5 to those who make display 6 and, withal, deny all assistance [to their fellow-men]! 7

True are the words of God the Almighty.
