۞ And We inspired Moses, saying: Take away My slaves by night, for ye will be pursued. 52 Then Pharaoh sent among the cities gatherers 53 'These' they said, 'are a small band, 54 And indeed, they are enraging us, 55 and we are a host on our guard' 56 So We expelled them from gardens, springs, 57 And treasures and a fair estate. 58 This happened with them; (but on the other hand), We enabled the Children of Israel to inherit those bounties. 59 But they pursued them at sunrise. 60 And when the two bodies saw each other, the people of Moses said: "We are sure to be overtaken." 61 [Moses] said, "No! Indeed, with me is my Lord; He will guide me." 62 Then We revealed unto Musa, saying: smite thou the sea with thy staff. So it became separated, and each part was like unto a cliff mighty. 63 And We made the other party approach thither. 64 and We saved Moses and those who were with him together, 65 And We drowned the others. 66 Surely there is a Sign in this, but most of them would not believe. 67 Indeed your Lord is mighty and merciful. 68

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
