Did you (O Muhammad SAW) observe him who turned away (from Islam). 33 And gave a little and [then] refrained? 34 Is with him knowledge of the unseen so that he seeth? 35 Or, has he not been informed of what is in the scriptures of Musa? 36 and of Abraham, who to his trust was true: 37 That no laden one shall bear another's load, 38 And that man will not obtain anything except what he strove for? 39 That (the fruit of) his striving will soon come in sight: 40 Then shall he be rewarded for it with the fullest reward- 41 And that to your Lord (Allah) is the End (Return of everything). 42 And that it is He Who causeth to laugh and causeth to weep. 43 And that it is He (Allah) Who causes death and gives life; 44 And that He createth the two spouses, the male and the female, 45 from a drop of sperm when it was emitted, 46 And that upon Him is another bringing forth. 47 And that it is He (Allah) Who gives much or a little (or gives wealth and contentment), 48 That He is the Lord of Sirius (the Mighty Star); 49 that it was He that destroyed ancient Aad 50 And Thamud, and did not leave them, 51 and before them the nation of Noah, they exceeded in evil and were insolent. 52 and He overthrew the subverted cities [of Sodom and Gomorrah] 53 So there covered them that which covered. 54 About which of the bounties of your Lord can they persistently dispute? 55 This is a Warner, of the (series of) Warners of old! 56 that [Last Hour] which is so near draws ever nearer, 57 There is no one to unveil it apart from God. 58 Do ye then wonder at this recital? 59 And you laugh, and do not weep! 60 Will you remain proudly heedless? 61 But fall ye down in prostration to Allah, and adore (Him)! ۩ 62
