Al-Furqaan 6 of 6
Most Auspicious is He Who created lofty towers in the sky and placed a lamp in it, and the luminous moon. 61 it is He who has made night and day succeed each other, a sign for those who would take heed and would be grateful. 62 The worshipers of the Merciful are those who walk humbly on the earth, and when the ignorant address them say: 'Peace' 63 And those who spend their nights bowed and standing before their Lord; 64 And those who say: "Our Lord! Avert from us the torment of Hell. Verily! Its torment is ever an inseparable, permanent punishment." 65 Lo! it is wretched as abode and station; 66 who, when they spend, are neither extravagant nor miserly but keep the golden mean between the two (extremes): 67 Who do not invoke any god apart from God, who do not take a life which God has forbidden except for a cause that is just, and do not fornicate -- and any one who does so will be punished for the crime, 68 The punishment shall be increased for him on the Day of Resurrection, and he will remain in it forever, with humiliation. 69 Except him who repents and believes and does a good deed; so these are they of whom Allah changes the evil deeds to good ones; and Allah is Forgiving, Merciful. 70 And whosoever repenteth and doeth good, he verily repenteth toward Allah with true repentance - 71 And those who will not witness vanity, but when they pass near senseless play, pass by with dignity. 72 and who when they are reminded of the verses of their Lord, they do not fall down deaf and blind. 73 who say, 'Our Lord, give us refreshment of our wives and seed, and make us a model to the godfearing.' 74 They will be rewarded for their perseverance with lofty mansions in empyrean where they will be received with greetings of peace and salutations, 75 Abiding therein; goodly the abode and the resting-place. 76 O Muhammad, tell the people, "MyLord does not care at all if you do not invoke Him. Now that you have denied (His Revelation), you will soon be awarded such a punishment which you will never be able to avoid." 77

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
