▼ 55 The All Compassionate
Al-Rahman 3 of 3
But for him who lived in awe of the sublimity of his Lord, there will be two gardens -- 46 Then which of the favours of your Lord will ye deny?- 47 [two gardens] of many wondrous hues. 48 Which, then, of your Sustainer's powers can you disavow? 49 therein two fountains of running water -- 50 So O men and jinns! Which favour of your Lord will you deny? 51 In which are fruits of all kinds, each of two varieties. 52 Which, then, of your Sustainer's powers can you disavow? 53 They shall recline on couches lined with brocade, and within reach shall hang the fruits of the two Gardens. 54 (Jinn and mankind) - which of the favors of your Lord would you then deny? 55 In them shall be those who restrained their eyes; before them neither man nor jinni shall have touched them. 56 Which, then, of the benefits of your Lord will ye twain belie? 57 As (lovely as) rubies and as (beautiful as) coral. 58 Which, then, of the benefits of your Lord will ye twain belie? 59 Could the reward of good be aught but good? 60 How many favours of your Lord will then both of you deny? -- 61 And besides these two other gardens -- 62 Then which of the favours of your Lord will ye deny?- 63 dark green in color. 64 Which of the favours of your Lord will you twain – you men and jinn – then deny? 65 In them (both) will be two springs gushing forth water. 66 O which of your Lord's bounties will you and you deny? 67 In both are fruits and palms and pomegranates. 68 O which of your Lord's bounties will you and you deny? 69 In them are goodly things, beautiful ones. 70 So O men and jinns! Which favour of your Lord will you deny? 71 [There the blest will live with their] companions pure and modest, in pavilions [splendid] 72 O which of your Lord's bounties will you and you deny? 73 Whom no man or jinn yatmithhunna (has opened their hymens with sexual intercourse) before them. 74 Then which of the Blessings of your Lord will you both (jinns and men) deny? 75 They shall be reclining on green cushions and splendid carpets. 76 Then which of the favours of your Lord will ye deny? 77 Blest be the name of thine Lord, Owner Of Majesty and Beneficence! 78
God Almighty has spoken the truth.
