Al-Hijjr 2 of 6

We have placed the signs of the Zodiac in the sky, and decked it out for those who can see; 16 And We have guarded it from every Satan damned. 17 Except one who comes to eavesdrop – therefore a bright flame goes after him. 18 As for the earth, We have stretched it out and have cast on it firm mountains, and have caused to grow in it everything well-measured. 19 and there appointed for you livelihood, and for those you provide not for. 20 Of all things there are We have the stores, and send them down in determined measure. 21 We send impregnating winds and send down water from the sky for you to drink and you have no (control over its) storage. 22 It is We who give life, and make to die, and it is We who are the inheritors. 23 We know the people who lived before you and those who will come into existence after you. 24 and it is your Lord who will gather them. He is Wise, Knowing. 25
