Tell them, (O Prophet): “I am nothing but a warner. There is no deity but Allah, the One, the Supreme, 65 the Sustainer of the heavens and the earth and all that is between them, the Almighty, the All-Forgiving!" 66 Say, “That is a great tidings.” 67 yet you ignore it. 68 "No knowledge have I of the Chiefs on high, when they discuss (matters) among themselves. 69 This alone is revealed to me, that I am only a clear warner.' 70 When your Lord said to the angels: 'I am creating a human from clay, 71 and when I have formed him fully and breathed My spirit into him, prostrate yourselves before him." 72 The angels fell down prostrate, every one, 73 Except Iblis (Satan) he was proud and was one of the disbelievers. 74 God said, "Satan, what prevented you from prostrating yourself to what I created with My own Hands? Were you overcome by arrogance, or are you of those who think [only] of themselves as exalted?" 75 He said: "I am better than he. You created me from fire, and him from clay." 76 'Begone' said He, 'you are stoned'. 77 Upon thee shall rest My curse, till the Day of Doom.' 78 He said, "My Lord, then reprieve me until the Day they are resurrected." 79 The Lord said, "You will only be given a respite 80 till the Appointed Day." 81 He said, "By Your Glory, I shall seduce all of them (children of Adam). 82 "Except Your chosen slaves amongst them (faithful, obedient, true believers of Islamic Monotheism)." 83 God said, "This is the truth, I speak only the truth, 84 "That I will certainly fill Hell with thee and those that follow thee,- every one." 85 Say: "No reward do I ask of you for this (Qur'an), nor am I a pretender. 86 It is nothing but a reminder unto all beings, 87 You will certainly know its truthfulness after a certain time. 88
