▼ 55 The All Compassionate
Al-Rahman 3 of 3
But for him who feareth the standing before his Lord there are two gardens. 46 (jinn and mankind) - which of the favors of your Lord would you then deny? 47 full of various trees. 48 Then which of the favours of your Lord will ye deny?- 49 In both of them, there are two springs flowing. 50 Which, then, of your Sustainer's powers can you disavow? 51 In [each of] these two will two kinds of every fruit be [found]. 52 Which of your Lord's favours will you twain – you men and jinn – then deny? 53 Reclining upon the couches lined with silk brocade, and the fruits of the two Gardens will be near at hand. 54 O which of your Lord's bounties will you and you deny? 55 In them are women limiting [their] glances, untouched before them by man or jinni - 56 Which favors of your Lord will you both belie? 57 lovely as rubies, beautiful as coral -- 58 which, then, of your Sustainer's powers can you disavow? 59 What is the reward of virtue except virtue (in return)? 60 Which, then, of your Sustainer's powers can you disavow? 61 Besides this, there will be two other gardens. 62 Then which of the favours of your Lord will ye deny?- 63 Densely covered with foliage, appearing dark. 64 Which of the favours of your Lord will you twain – you men and jinn – then deny? 65 therein two fountains of gushing water -- 66 So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny? 67 In them are fruits, palm trees and pomegranates. 68 Then which of the favours of your Lord will ye deny? 69 Therein (gardens) will be fair (wives) good and beautiful; 70 Which then of the bounties of your Lord will you deny? 71 Companions restrained (as to their glances), in (goodly) pavilions;- 72 Which is it, of the favours of your Lord, that ye deny? - 73 Whom no man or jinn yatmithhunna (has opened their hymens with sexual intercourse) before them. 74 (Jinn and mankind) - which of the favors of your Lord would you then deny? 75 Reclining on green cushions and rich carpets excellent. 76 Which of the favours of your Lord will you twain – you men and jinn – then deny? 77 Most Auspicious is the name of your Lord, the Most Majestic and the Most Honourable. 78
God Almighty has spoken the truth.
