And He it is Who brought forth for you hearing and sight and hearts, little thanks ye give! 78 And He has multiplied you through the earth, and to Him shall ye be gathered back. 79 And it is He Who gives life and causes death, and for Him are the alternations of night and day; so do you not have sense? 80 Nay, but they said the like of what the ancients said. 81 they say: "What! After we have died and become mere dust and bones, shall we, forsooth, be raised from the dead? 82 Certainly we are promised this, and (so were) our fathers aforetime; this is naught but stories of those of old. 83 Say: "To whom belong the earth and all beings therein? (say) if ye know!" 84 Thereupon they will say, “To Allah”; proclaim, “Therefore why do you not ponder?” 85 Say, "Who is Lord of the seven heavens and Lord of the Great Throne?" 86 They will say, 'God's.' Say: 'Will you not then be godfearing?' 87 Say: Who is it in Whose hand is the kingdom of all things and Who gives succor, but against Him Succor is not given, if you do but know? 88 Thereupon they will say, “Such greatness is only that of Allah”; say, “Then by what magic are you deceived?” 89 We have sent them the truth and they, certainly, are liars. 90 No son (or offspring or children) did Allah beget, nor is there any ilah (god) along with Him; (if there had been many gods), behold, each god would have taken away what he had created, and some would have tried to overcome others! Glorified be Allah above all that they attribute to Him! 91 The knower of the absent and the present, too exalted is He for what they associate (with Him)! 92
