Commemorate Moses in the Book. He was a chosen one, both an apostle and a prophet. 51 We called him from the right slope of the Mount, and brought him nigh in communion. 52 And We bestowed upon him of Our mercy his brother Aaron, a prophet (likewise). 53 Tell also of Ishmael in the Book. He was true to his promise and was a messenger and a prophet. 54 And he used to enjoin on his people prayer and zakah and was to his Lord pleasing. 55 And remember Idrees in the Book; he was indeed very truthful, a Prophet. 56 We raised him to a high place. 57 Those were some of the prophets on whom Allah did bestow His Grace,- of the posterity of Adam, and of those who We carried (in the Ark) with Noah, and of the posterity of Abraham and Israel of those whom We guided and chose. Whenever the Signs of (Allah) Most Gracious were rehearsed to them, they would fall down in prostrate adoration and in tears. ۩ 58 ۞ Then there succeeded them a posterity who neglected the prayers and followed lusts; so presently they shall meet with perdition. 59 except he who repents and believes and does good works; those shall be admitted to Paradise and shall not be wronged in any way. 60 Gardens Everlasting, which the Compassionate hath promised unto his bondmen, unseen; verily His promise is ever to be fulfilled. 61 They shall not hear therein (in Paradise) any Laghw (dirty, false, evil vain talk), but only Salam (salutations of peace). And they will have therein their sustenance, morning and afternoon. [See (V. 40:55)]. 62 That is the Paradise which We shall give the cautious worshipers to inherit. 63 [Gabriel said], "And we [angels] descend not except by the order of your Lord. To Him belongs that before us and that behind us and what is in between. And never is your Lord forgetful - 64 the Sustainer of the heavens and the earth and all that is between them! Worship, then, Him alone, and remain steadfast in His worship! Dost thou know any whose name is worthy to be mentioned side by side with His?" 65
