Are you more difficult to create or the heavens? He built it, 27 He raised high its height, then put it into a right good state. 28 Its night He covers with darkness, and its forenoon He brings out (with light). 29 And after it spread out the earth. 30 He extracted from it its water and its pasture, 31 and making the mountains firm: 32 an enjoyment for you and your herds. 33 But when the great predominating calamity comes; 34 The Day when man will remember that for which he strove, 35 And hell will stand forth visible to him who seeth, 36 Those who have rebelled 37 And who chose the life of the world, 38 Lo! hell will be his home. 39 However, those who had feared their Lord and restrained their souls from acting according to its desires. 40 indeed, their refuge shall be Paradise. 41 They ask you about the Hour: “When will it be?” 42 Why (ask they)? What hast thou to tell thereof? 43 This matter is in the hands of your Lord. 44 Thou art but [sent] to warn those who stand in awe of it. 45 On the Day whereon they behold it, it will appear to them as though they had not tarried save an evening or the morn thereof. 46
