The Quake (Al-Zalzalah)

8 verses, revealed in Medina after Women (Al-Nesaa) before Iron (Al-Hadeed)

In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful

WHEN THE WORLD is shaken up by its cataclysm, 1 And the earth bringeth forth her burthens, 2 and man will cry out: “What is the matter with her?” 3 On that Day it will relate all her news, 4 For that thy Lord will have given her inspiration. 5 On that Day mankind shall issue in scatterings to see their deeds. 6 So whosoever does good equal to the weight of an atom (or a small ant), shall see it. 7 And whoso doeth ill an atom's weight will see it then. 8
