The Arrangers (Al-Saaffaat)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
By the angels ranged in ranks. 1 by those who reprove severely, 2 and by the reciters of the Reminder: 3 that your Lord is the only Lord. 4 Lord of the heavens and the earth and everything between them; Lord of the Easts. 5 We have adorned the lowest heaven with the beauty of the planets; 6 And have placed therein a guard against any satan froward. 7 so they cannot listen to the High Assembly, for they are pelted from every side. 8 Being driven off, and for them is a perpetual chastisement, 9 except such as snatches a fragment, and he is pursued by a piercing flame. 10 So ask them, are they stronger in constitution, or those whom We have created. We have created them of sticky clay. 11 Nay, thou marvellest; and they scoff 12 They pay no attention when they are reminded 13 and, when they see a sign, would scoff; 14 And they say: Lo! this is mere magic; 15 "When we are dead and have become dust and bones, shall we (then) verily be resurrected? 16 Will our forefathers also be brought to life again?" 17 Say (O Muhammad SAW): "Yes, and you shall then be humiliated." 18 It will be only one shout, and at once they will be observing. 19 And say: "Ah woe! This is the Day of Reckoning." 20 This is the day of the judgment which you called a lie. 21
