Dispatched (Al-Mursalaat)
Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
I CALL TO WITNESS those who are sent consecutively, 1 Then by oath of those that push with a strong gust. 2 Then by oath of those that lift and carry. 3 by (the angels) who make a clear distinction between right and wrong 4 And those [angels] who deliver a message 5 To cut off all excuses or to warn; 6 Indeed what you are promised, will surely befall. 7 Then when the stars lose their lights; 8 And when the heaven is cleft asunder; 9 And when the mountains are made into dust and blown away. 10 And when the messengers' time has come... 11 To what day is the doom fixed? 12 For the Day of Decision. 13 What do you know what the Day of Judgement is? 14 Woe on that Day unto those who give the lie to the truth! 15 Destroyed We not the former folk, 16 and let the latter follow them? 17 Thus do We deal with the criminals. 18 Woe that day unto those who cry it lies! 19 Did We not create you from a base fluid 20 And We placed it in a firm lodging 21 for an appointed term? 22 For We do determine (according to need); for We are the best to determine (things). 23 Woe on that Day to those that give the lie to the Truth! 24 Have We not made the earth a housing 25 The living and the dead, 26 And We placed high mountains as anchors in it and gave you sweet water to drink. 27 On that Day (of Judgment) woe would be upon those who have rejected God's revelations! 28 "Go to what you used to deny; 29 Go on towards the threefold shadow 30 "(Which yields) no shade of coolness, and is of no use against the fierce Blaze. 31 Surely it sends up sparks like palaces, 32 So like golden camels." 33 Woe on that Day to those who belied it! 34 That will be a Day when they shall not speak (during some part of it), 35 And they will not be permitted to put forth any excuse. 36 Woe, that Day, to the deniers. 37 That will be a Day of Sorting out! We shall gather you together and those before (you)! 38 and if you [think that you] have a subterfuge left, try to outwit Me!" 39 Ruin is for the deniers on that day! 40
