(People), is your creation harder for God than that of the heavens, which He created, raised and established 27 He raised high its height, then put it into a right good state. 28 He has made its nights dark and its days bright. 29 And after that He spread the earth; 30 And he brought forth therefrom its water, and its pasture. 31 And the mountains He set firm 32 [all this] as a means of livelihood for you and your animals. 33 So when the greatest universal disaster arrives, 34 The Day when man will remember that for which he strove, 35 And Hellfire will be exposed for [all] those who see - 36 Those who have rebelled 37 And preferred the life of this world (by following his evil desires and lusts), 38 The Abode will be Hell-Fire; 39 And as for him who dreaded standing before his Lord, and restrained his soul from lust, 40 Verily the Garden! that shall be his resort. 41 They (the disbelievers) ask you regarding the Last Day, as to when is its appointed time. 42 In what [position] are you that you should mention it? 43 Towards your Lord only is its conclusion. 44 Your duty is only to warn him who fears it. 45 The day when they will see it, it will seem as if they had not stayed on earth except for an evening or its morning. 46
