The All High (Al-A'alaa)
19 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Rolling (Al-Takweer) before The Night (Al-Layl)
In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful
۞ Glorify the name of your Lord, the Most High, 1 Who has created (everything), and then proportioned it; 2 And the One Who kept proper measure and then guided. 3 The One Who produced pasture. 4 And [then] makes it black stubble. 5 We shall now make you read (O dear Prophet Mohammed peace and blessings be upon him), so you will not forget. 6 except whatever God wills; He knows both what is manifest and what is hidden -- 7 We shall ease you to follow the way of Ease. 8 Therefore remind, if the Reminder profits, 9 Those who fear will understand. 10 but the wretched will turn away from it. 11 who will roast in the Great Fire, 12 In which he will neither die nor live. 13 He has certainly succeeded who purifies himself 14 And recites the name of his Lord and serves with devotion. 15 However, (the disbelievers) prefer the worldly life 16 Whereas the Hereafter is better and everlasting. 17 Verily! This is in the former Scriptures, 18 the Scrolls of Abraham and Moses. 19
God the Almighty always says the truth.
