Prostration
< random >
(O Prophet), did you see him who turned away (from the Path of Allah), 33 and gives a little, grudgingly? 34 Hath he knowledge of the Unseen so that he seeth? 35 Has he not heard what is contained in the Book of Moses, 36 And of Ibrahim (Abraham) who fulfilled (or conveyed) all that (what Allah ordered him to do or convey), 37 “That no bearer of a burden shall bear the burden of another, 38 And that man hath only that for which he maketh effort, 39 and that his work is surely seen 40 Then he will be fully repaid for it? 41 And that the end is only towards your Lord? 42 that it is He who brings laughter and tears; 43 And that He it is Who causes death and gives life- 44 and that He Himself created the two kinds, male and female, 45 From a sperm-drop when it is emitted 46 and that upon Him is the second creation 47 And that He it is Who enricheth and contenteth; 48 That He is the Lord of Sirius (the Mighty Star); 49 And that it is He (Allah) Who destroyed the former 'Ad (people), 50 and Thamud, leaving no trace of them, 51 and that He it is Who destroyed the people of Noah before for they were much given to iniquity and transgression. 52 And He destroyed the overthrown cities [of Sodom to which Prophet Lout (Lot) was sent]. 53 So there covered them that which covered. 54 Concerning which then, of the bounties of thy Lord, canst thou dispute? 55 This [Prophet] is a warner like the former warners. 56 The threatened Hour is nigh. 57 No one besides God can rescue a soul from hardship. 58 Do ye then wonder at this recital? 59 And will ye laugh and not weep,- 60 While you are indulging in varieties. 61 So fall you down in prostration to Allah, and worship Him (Alone). ۩ 62
Allah the Almighty always says the truth.
End of Surah: The Stars (Al-Najm). Sent down in Mecca after Absoluteness (Al-Ikhlaas) before He Frowned ('Abasa)
