Al-Aadeyaat
The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)
In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
By the (Steeds) that run, with panting (breath), 1 sparks of fire striking, 2 And raiding at dawn 3 raising a trail of dust, 4 Then rush thereby upon an assembly: 5 Surely Man is ungrateful to his Lord, 6 And indeed he himself is a witness to it. 7 And is intractable in his love of worldly goods. 8 ۞ Does he not know that when that which is in the graves is overthrown, 9 And the secrets of the breasts are made known, 10 their Lord will examine his deeds? 11
God the Almighty always says the truth.
