(Muhammad), have you ever seen the one who has turned away (from guidance), 33 And gave a little, then was grudging? 34 Does he possess the knowledge of the Unseen, and therefore he sees? 35 Hath he not been told of that which is in the writs of Musa. 36 And of Abraham who fulfilled his trust? -- 37 that no soul shall bear the burden of another; 38 and that man shall have only that for which he strives; 39 And that his effort will soon be scrutinised? 40 and that he shall then be fully recompensed, 41 and that the final end is unto thy Lord, 42 That it is He who makes you happy and morose, 43 and that it is He alone who deals death and grants life; 44 and He it is Who created the two kinds, the male and the female, 45 From Nutfah (drops of semen male and female discharges) when it is emitted; 46 And that on Him is the bringing forth a second time; 47 and that it is He who gives wealth and riches, 48 It is He who is the Lord of Sirius. 49 It is He who utterly destroyed the ancient tribes of Ad, 50 And that Thamud! He left not. 51 And also the people of Nuh aforetime. Verily they were even greater wrong-doers and more contumacious. 52 And He brought perdition upon the subverted cities 53 Then covered them with that which covered them. 54 So which then of your Lord's favors do you dispute? 55 This is a warner of the warners of old. 56 What is to come is imminent. 57 No (soul) but Allah can lay it bare. 58 Do you then wonder at this recital (the Quran)? 59 And laugh and not weep, 60 While you are indulging in varieties. 61 But fall ye down in prostration to Allah, and adore (Him)! ۩ 62
