The Quake (Al-Zalzalah)

8 verses, revealed in Medina after Women (Al-Nesaa) before Iron (Al-Hadeed)

In the name of Allah, most benevolent, ever-merciful

When the earth is shaken with her (violent) shaking, 1 when the earth shakes off her burdens, 2 and the human asks: "What is the matter with it?" 3 On that Day it shall proclaim its news, 4 Because your Lord has commanded it. 5 On that day men will return towards their Lord, in different groups, in order to be shown their deeds. 6 So. he who has done an atom's weight of good shall see it 7 And whosoever has done even an atom's weight of evil will behold that. 8

God Almighty has spoken the truth.
