Al-Haaqqah 2 of 2
But nay! I swear by that which you see, 38 and by that you do not see, 39 That this is verily the word of an honoured Messenger [i.e. Jibrael (Gabriel) or Muhammad SAW which he has brought from Allah]. 40 And not the word of a poet. How little is it that you believe! 41 and neither is it - however little you may [be prepared to] take it to heart - the word of a soothsayer: 42 It is a revelation sent down by the Sustainer of the Universe: 43 if he had invented any lies about Us, 44 We would have seized him by the right hand, 45 And then severed his life-vein. 46 and not one of you could have defended him. 47 And indeed, the Qur'an is a reminder for the righteous. 48 We know very well that there are some among you who reject Our signs -- 49 It is surely the nemesis of unbelievers. 50 And most surely it is the true certainty 51 So glorify the name of your Lord, the Almighty. 52
True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
