And indeed, warnings came to the people of Fir'aun (Pharaoh) [through Musa (Moses) and Harun (Aaron)]. 41 but they rejected all Our miracles. So We seized them in the way that a Majestic and All-powerful One would. 42 What, are your unbelievers better than those? Or have you an immunity in the Scrolls? 43 Or do they say: 'We are a gathering that will be victorious' 44 The group will soon be routed, and will turn their backs to flee. 45 Nay, the Hour (of Judgment) is the time promised them (for their full recompense): And that Hour will be most grievous and most bitter. 46 Surely the sinners are misguided and insane. 47 On that Day they will be dragged into the fire faces foremost, (and told:) "Taste the feel of Hell." 48 We have indeed created all things by a proper measure. 49 And Our command is but one (word) swift as the winking of an eye. 50 Thus, indeed, did We destroy people like you [in the past]: who, then, is willing to take it to heart? 51 And all what they did is in the Books. 52 And everything, small and big is written (in Al-Lauh Al-Mahfuz already beforehand i.e. before it befalls, or is done by its doer) (See the Quran V. 57:22). 53 Surely those who fear God and follow the straight path will be amidst gardens and light, 54 In a good seat, near a Sovereign Omnipotent. 55
