The Rolling (Al-Takweer)
29 verses, revealed in Mecca after Thorns (Al-Masad) before The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
When the sun Kuwwirat (wound round and lost its light and is overthrown). 1 when the stars shall be thrown down, 2 When the mountains vanish (like a mirage); 3 And when milch camels roam abandoned. 4 the wild beasts are herded together, 5 and when the seas boil over, 6 And when the souls are paired. 7 And when the girl [who was] buried alive is asked 8 for what crime she had been slain, 9 When the scrolls are laid open; 10 when heaven is stripped, 11 And when Hell-fire shall be kindled to fierce ablaze. 12 when Paradise is brought near, 13 Then every soul shall know that which it hath presented. 14 No! I swear by the slinkers, 15 The stars which rise and set, 16 And by the night as it departs; 17 and the morn as it breathes. 18 Truly, this is the word brought by a noble messenger, 19 [Who is] possessed of power and with the Owner of the Throne, secure [in position], 20 Obeyed and worthy there of trust. 21 And (O people) your companion (Muhammad (Peace be upon him)) is not a madman; 22 And without doubt he saw him in the clear horizon. 23 Neither doth he withhold grudgingly a knowledge of the Unseen. 24 And the Qur’an is not the recitation of Satan the outcast. 25 Whither then go ye? 26 It is nothing but Good Counsel for everyone in the world, 27 Unto whomsoever of you willeth to walk straight. 28 And ye will not, unless (it be) that Allah willeth, the Lord of Creation. 29
Almighty God's Truth.
