Shattering (Al-Infitaar)
In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful
۞ When the sky is cleft asunder; 1 And when the stars shall be scattered, 2 When the oceans begin to flow, 3 and when the graves are laid open: 4 the soul shall know what it has done, the former and the latter. 5 O man! What has deceived you about your generous Lord 6 Who created thee, then moulded thee, then proportioned thee? 7 In whatever Form He wills, does He put thee together. 8 No indeed; but you cry lies to the Doom; 9 Verify there are for you guardians, 10 The honourable recorders. 11 who know what you do. 12 Indeed, the righteous will be in pleasure, 13 And most surely the wicked are in burning fire, 14 which they will enter on the Day of Judgment 15 And they (Al-Fujjar) will not be absent therefrom (i.e. will not go out from the Hell). 16 And what will make you know what the Day of Recompense is? 17 Again, what do you know – of what sort is the Day of Justice! 18 It is the Day when no soul can do a thing for another soul. That Day, the command belongs to Allah. 19
