The Shocker (Al-Qaare'ah)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Quraish (Quraish) before Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
The Clatterer! 1 What is the terrible calamity! 2 And what will make you comprehend what the terrible calamity is? 3 (It is) a Day whereon men will be like moths scattered about, 4 and the mountains shall be like fluffs of carded wool in varying colours. 5 Then he whose deeds shall weigh heavier in the scale 6 Will have a tranquil life; 7 And for one whose scales prove light, 8 his head will be in the Plunging 9 And what could make thee conceive what that [abyss] will be? 10 A burning fire. 11
Allah the Almighty always says the truth.
