Hizb 46

Jonah too was one of the Envoys; 139 He fled to the overloaded ship. 140 And he drew lots and was among the losers. 141 Then a (big) fish swallowed him and he had done an act worthy of blame. 142 And had he not been of those who hallow Him, 143 he would have lingered in its belly till the Day they are resurrected. 144 ۞ We cast him out of the fish unto dry land and he was sick. 145 And We caused a tree of gourd to grow above him; 146 And We sent him towards a hundred thousand people, in fact more. 147 and [this time] they believed [in him] and so We allowed them to enjoy their life during the time allotted to them? 148 Now ask them (O Muhammad SAW): "Are there (only) daughters for your Lord and sons for them?" 149 Or did We create the angels females while they were witnesses? 150 Now surely it is of their own lie that they say: 151 Allah hath begotten. Allah! verily they tell a lie. 152 Did He (then) choose daughters rather than sons? 153 What is the matter with you? How judge ye? 154 What, and will you not remember? 155 Or have you received some clear authority? 156 Then bring your book, if you are truthful. 157 They have said that there is a relationship between Him and the jinn. The jinn certainly know that they will all be brought to suffer torment. 158 Glorified is Allah! (He is Free) from what they attribute unto Him! 159 Except the bondmen of Allah sincere. 160 So you and your deities 161 you shall not tempt any against Him 162 except those who are doomed to enter hell. 163 None of us is there, but has a known station; 164 “And indeed we, with our wings spread, await the command.” 165 And indeed, we are those who exalt Allah." 166 And indeed they used to say: 167 'If only we had a reminder from the ancients, 168 We would have been the chosen servants of Allah." 169 But they disbelieved in it, so they are going to know. 170 And certainly Our word has already gone forth in respect of Our servants, the apostles: 171 That they verily would be made triumphant. 172 And verily Our host! they are to be overcome. 173 So turn thou away from them for a little while, 174 And see them thou; they themselves shall presently see. 175 Do they want to suffer Our torment immediately? 176 When it lights in their courtyard, how evil will be the morning of them that are warned! 177 So turn (O Muhammad SAW) away from them for a while, 178 and see; and they too shall soon see. 179 Exaltations be to your Lord, the Lord of Might, above that they describe! 180 And peace be on the apostles. 181 and all praise be to Allah, the Lord of the Universe. 182
True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
