The Inevitable (Al-Waaqe'ah)
96 verses, revealed in Mecca after T H (Taa Haa) before The Poets (Alshu'araa')
In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful
۞ WHEN WHAT IS to happen comes to pass -- 1 there is no denying its coming 2 Abasing (some), exalting (others); 3 This will happen when the earth is shaken, shaken 4 and the mountains fragmented 5 So that they become dust seattered. 6 And you (all) will be in three kinds (i.e. separate groups). 7 Companions of the Right (O Companions of the Right!) 8 Companions of the Left, what are the Companions of the Left? 9 As for the Foremost, they will be the foremost! 10 It is they who are the close ones. 11 in the Gardens of Delight 12 A multitude of those (foremost) will be from the first generations (who embraced Islam). 13 but only a few from the later generations. 14 On couches in wrought with gold. 15 Reclining on them, facing one another. 16 There wait on them immortal youths 17 with goblets, and ewers, and a cup from a spring 18 No headache will they have therefrom, nor will they be intoxicated - 19 they will also go about them with the fruits of which they may choose, 20 and the flesh of birds, as they desire. 21 And (there will be) Houris (fair females) with wide, lovely eyes (as wives for the pious), 22 The like of the hidden pearls: 23 A reward for what they used to do. 24 Not frivolity will they hear therein, nor any taint of ill,- 25 Nought but the saying: peace! peace! 26 And the companions of the right hand; how happy are the companions of the right hand! 27 They shall be in the midst of thornless lote trees, 28 And clustered plantains, 29 And in everlasting shade. 30 By water flowing constantly, 31 And fruit in abundance. 32 Neither intercepted nor forbidden, 33 and raised couches 34 for, behold, We shall have brought them into being in a life renewed, 35 And made them virgin - pure (and undefiled), - 36 full of love, well-matched 37 For the fellows on the right hand. 38

كيف تعمل منظومة تمارين الحفظ؟ عند أدنى مستوى 0، تكون كل الكلمات ظاهرة. بينما يُخفي أعلى مستوى 9 كل الكلمات. فكيف تعمل المستويات المتوسطة، مثل 3، على سبيل المثال؟ قد تعتقد بأن المنظومة تخفي 3 من كل تسع كلمات بدقة. ليس تماما! في المستوى 3، لكل كلمة فرصة اختفاء بنسبة 3 من 9، و6 من 9 لتكون ظاهرة. بمعنى آخر، من الممكن، ولكن باحتمال شبة معدوم، أن تكون جميع كلمات المستوى 3 مخفية، أو أن تكون جميعها ظاهرة! وكذلك أيضًا، ففي المستويات المتوسطة، وبما يتناسب مع مستوى الصعوبة، يمكن أن تكون المخابئ غير كاملة أو شفافة جزئيًا بحيث تظهر الكلمات جزئيًا تحتها.
How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
